Division V3.2 Full CAD Assembly (July 2022)

This is a full CAD assembly (not a physical product) for Division V3.2. The prior version of the robot fought at the April 2022 Norwalk Havoc with 6 wins, placing 7th overall out of 60 beetleweight robots. The upgraded V3.2 (July NHRL) has a much more robust drivetrain design that is more mechanically durable and more consistent.

WARNING: This robot is incredibly dangerous and difficult to drive.

I strongly recommend using this as a learning tool to help inform design choices for your own design. If cloned outright you must take extreme safety precautions when testing the robot, and never spin up the weapon outside of a suitable test box or enclosure.

This is not a kit. There are no instructions provided. This should absolutely not be your first-ever combat robot. This is intended to be a learning tool to show proper CAD/mechanical design techniques.

If you build a copy of this robot, choose a different name for it! I have intentionally removed DIV/SION from the 3D-printed parts in this assembly for a reason!

The bot is available in pretty much every CAD format under the sun and will work with any CAD program that accepts the universal STEP or SAT filetypes (including Solidworks), plus it is native in Autodesk Fusion 360.

This product is just a CAD model (Computer-Aided Design) - 3D design files that can aid in constructing a robot or part - and not an actual physical product. Nothing will be shipped to you after your purchase.

Testing a robot with an active spinning weapon should never be done while maintaining a line of sight with the robot.
