Vertical Spinner Module for SSP 2.0 Kit

The Spinner Addon you've all been waiting for is HERE!

The SSP 2.0 Vertical Spinner module brings your SSP kit capabilities to the next level. No longer a pure control bot, this addon allows your SSP kit to do some real damage without compromising mobility. By using our RDY-5022 Mini hubmotor and a 3" diameter, 1/4" thick AR600 blade, the robot's center of gravity stays between the wheels, and you can still use the same great AR600 front forks as the lifter module does. Our amazing SSP kit was redesigned to make integration with this module as seamless as possible and to allow driving inverted with the 'bunny ears' riding the floor. 

This module is sold as a bundle of parts, some assembly required. SSP 2.0 kits, both standard and brushless, work great with this addon.

Larger Battery Recommended

For brushed kits, a 3S 850mAh and for Brushless, 4S 650-850mAh should work. GNB and Tattu have great options that fit. Look for a battery at most 70mm x 32mm x 25mm, and you may need to extend the wires or make an XT30-XT30 extension for some packs.

The brushless kit with its higher voltage 4S/14.8V battery is an excellent pairing, bringing the tip speed of the blade to 225 mph. Our 4S 550mAh LiPo should be enough to get by without full throttle the whole time.

With a standard brushed kit, the weapon tip speed will be 25% slower with a 3S/11.1V battery, but still capable of doing some damage. We DO NOT recommend running Dragon motors on higher than 3S.

Compatibiltiy

The Vertical Spinner module will NOT fit on SSP 1.0 kits with our 3D printed mounts, but can be retrofitted with your own mount design; however, driving inverted is seriously compromised. 

This module adds approximately 0.2 pounds or 90 grams to your SSP kit. SSP 2.0 kits should have enough weight to spare to add the vertical spinner module, barb forks, side skirt armor, and even a heavy titanium lid.
